Moona Wu
Moona wu (Chinese Pen Name: 孟悟) is a published Chinese author who has lived in the U.S for more than 20 years. she has published 11 books in China including 6 novels and 2 collections of essays and 3 travel books. She is also a column writer for a Chinese-language newspaper that serves the Chinese community in American cities such as San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, and Washington, DC. Most of her columns are about the careers and relationships of Chinese immigrants in the United States.
She grew up in Chongqing, China. After she arrived in the US, she earned her MBA and web programming certificate. She used to work for different organizations as a web developer and accountant. Currently, She works for dance studios as a dance instructor.
One day, she had an epiphany. Having lived in the United States for many years now, she realized she should leave some traces of her life on this land. So in recent days, she is translating some of her works into English.
